The approach of Gray Area is strengths-based and eclectic with roots in positive psychology and humanistic theories. This approach allows youth to feel understood, capable, and supported. Gray Area works to help determine areas of need and treats them through identifying and utilizing their unique strengths.

Gray Area focuses on evaluations and treatments/interventions (e.g., therapy, ADHD coaching, social skills training) for individuals ages 3-22+. Services can continue through college and graduate school. Evaluations can investigate possible psychological diagnoses and/or Special Education eligibility.

Have some Questions?

All individuals visiting Gray Area are required to wear a mask prior to entering the building. Parents and guardians will have to complete an additional consent form indicating awareness of the risks during the pandemic. Families will also have to report whether they or anyone in their household have exhibited symptoms of COVID-19. Should Dr. Gray’s mask need to be removed during service provision, she will wear a face shield. All materials and items in the office will be disinfected between each appointment. Gloves will be utilized during test administrations. Teletherapy and televisits are an option as well. All options can be explored to best meet the needs of each family. It is recommended families wait in their car until their appointment time and while their child is in the office, but this is not required.

An intake consultation will be completed to help you determine what services best meet the needs of your family.

There are limitations for the types of appointments that can be scheduled online due to attempts to maintain confidentiality and to account for individual needs. For example, testing sessions may be longer for some individual while they are shorter and more frequent for others.

The first appointment will be an intake consultation. Gray Area will assist families when scheduling testing sessions for evaluations.

Gray Area does not accept insurance at this time but superbills are available upon request to allow families to file for reimbursement of services provided. Client is responsible for payment of fees at the time services are rendered.

Fees are determined based on services provided to each family. This will be reviewed prior to the appointment. Please inquire with Gray Area for fee information.
